Abstract

Regarding the policies, a situational-driven and precipitated selection of the CAE as final examination in the ELM, and an absence of curricular adjustments or plans to achieve such level, were almost immediately reflected in general student low scores in the test. As a conclusion, a combination of these and other related aspects act as limitations for the ELM students to perform adequately in the examination in the level they are being required.
