Abstract

Language learners hold a set of beliefs concerning language learning, those beliefs may influence the way students learn even though sometimes it is not possible to identify them easily. This thesis reports on a study that investigated beliefs about language learning held by 326 Mexican students undertaking English courses in the English Language Center at the Technological Institute of Chetuma.
