dc.description.abstractLa tesis de licenciatura es un género textual importante en el sistema educativo mexicano, pero no existen estudios sobre su constitución discursiva. Este trabajo de semiótica social presenta los hallazgos de un estudio de movimientos retóricos en conclusiones de tesis de la licenciatura en antropología social de la Universidad de Quintana Roo. Se compiló un corpus electrónico de 20 tesis y se analizó usando la metodología propuesta por Upton y Cohen (2009). Se encontraron movimientos retóricos no descritos previamente, así como una correspondencia general entre la estructura de movimientos de estas tesis y la de otros tipos de reporte de investigación. Los hallazgos revelan algunas de las prácticas sociales de construcción del conocimiento textualizadas en las conclusiones y permiten cuestionarlas.es_MX
dc.description.otherThe undergraduate thesis is an important textual genre in the Mexican educational system but there are no studies on its discursive composition. This social semiotic paper presents the findings of a study of rhetorical moves in the thesis conclusions at the undergraduate level in Social Anthropology at the Universidad de Quintana Roo. An electronic corpus was compiled of 20 theses and they were analyzed using the methodology proposed by Upton and Cohen (2009). Rhetorical moves not described previously were found along with a general correspondence between the structure of the moves in these theses and of other types of investigative reports. The findings reveal some of the social practices of knowledge construction that are textualized in the conclusion and permit us to question them.es_MX
