Bilingual glossary of climatology terms (English-Spanish).

Abstract

In 2007 there were worldwide conscious raising activities about the warming of the planet and the climate change, from world musical events to political movements (liveearth.org). The events that took place at that time awoke my interest and led me to look for more information about the topics: First, looking for a general overview of global warming (www.cnn.com,2007), then a different opinion about the climate change (Parson,M. 1995) and finally, the treaties done in the past to face the predicament (Cooper, R. 1998). While doing this, questions arose regarding vocabulary, so I looked for glossaries on the web and manual books. Most of them are focused on either providing very specialized words, or a lexicon in the source anguage, which make them very difficult to consult and understand the material.
